During the event the RB Group presented through lectures the advantages of pine cultivation for the extraction of gum resin. At the Grupo Resinas Brasil’s stand the public could get to know our genetically improved seedlings and the products originated from gum resin in natura, highlighting rosin, turpentine and gum base for chewing gum.
The producers in the southern region had the opportunity to receive detailed information about the cultivation of pine trees for the extraction of gum resin. Currently, gum resin has been consolidated as a major economic attraction, providing significant income for producers, making evident the advantage of the added value of gum resin compared to the cultivation of forests focused only on the extraction of wood.
