MALEIC RESINS
Applications: Nitrocellulose-based paints, wood coatings, polyesters, PU, and synthetic enamels. It can be used for coating citrus fruits.
Properties: The maleic resins promote fast drying, higher gloss and good hardness. They act to improve wettability, adhesion, and are resistant to yellowing and heating. They are soluble in esters, ethers, ketones, aromatic and aliphatic solvents. Insoluble in alcoholic solvents.
