FUMARIC-MODIFIED ROSIN

Fumaric resins are rosin resins modified with fumaric acid and esterified with polyols.

Applications: Nitrocellulose-based inks, synthetic enamels, varnishes, flexographic inks, rotogravure inks, and leather finishing.
Properties: Fumaric resins have strong adhesion to the substrate and promote rapid drying, higher gloss, and good hardness. They are soluble in esters, alcohols, aromatic solvents, and alkaline solutions.
