Applications: They can be used as substitutes for aromatic or aliphatic hydrocarbon resins. They can also be applied in glues, hot melt adhesives, and PSA adhesives.
Properties: Pentaerythritol esters have a low initial color and excellent adhesion. They tend to have a higher softening point than rosin esters with glycerin. They have good resistance to yellowing and heating. Good compatibility with natural and synthetic rubbers. Soluble in esters, ethers, ketones, aromatic and aliphatic solvents.
